The specialist doctor will look through all the treatment you have received in detail and possibly suggest further treatment. There will be time to discuss the prognosis, time to discuss any questions and time for advice about any alternative treatment options.

When you contact us for the first time, you will have a free, no-obligation telephone interview with an experienced nurse to decide if you and your relatives would benefit from a Diagnosis Check. It is important for us that we can live up to the expectations that you have from a Diagnosis Check.
After that conversation we will find the exact specialist in your illness that matches your medical history.
As soon as we have all the important information, such as your medical journal, blood tests, X-rays and scan results and other investigation results, we will arrange an appointment where you and your relatives can meet the specialist and receive the answers from your Diagnosis Check. We realise that time is an important factor for you, so we guarantee that there will be a maximum of 14 days from when we receive all of your paperwork until you receive the results of your Diagnosis Check.
We do take account of your individual situation, and if you require a clarifying discussion with a nurse prior to your meeting with specialist, this is also possible.
After the final meeting and answer from your Diagnosis Check, we will contact you and follow the whole course up. You have the opportunity at this point to obtain any answers to questions you may still have, or that have arisen since the discussion with the specialist.

A Diagnosis Check/Second Opinion with POWERDOC costs DKK 19995 incl. VAT. Please be aware that if you have an insurance policy that covers critical illness, it may be that your insurance company
also covers the expense of a Diagnosis Check/Second Opinion.
